$1 Million Powerball Winning Ticket Sold at Texas Walmart
The Texas Lottery has confirmed that a winning $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at a Walmart in McKinney, Texas. The store is located at 2041 North Redbud Boulevard.
Whoever purchased the ticket did NOT opt for the Powerplay option for $1 extra, losing out on the chance to double the payout to $2 million.
Nobody Won The Powerball Jackpot
No one matched all six numbers drawn on Wednesday night. Those numbers were 9-29-31-34-43, with a Powerball number of 2.
Three people bought tickets that matched all 5 of the non-Powerball numbers for the million-dollar prize. In addition to Texas, the other winners were from Kansas and New Hampshire. None of those winners chose the Power Play option.
The next Powerball drawing will be on Saturday, May 24. The jackpot will be $163 million with an estimated lump sum payout of $73.3 million.
