Howdy! I'm a native Texan who has been blessed to call East Texas home since 1990. I have been married to a wonderful woman for 26 years and we have 3 children. In addition to hosting the Merrell in the Morning Show, I'm also the public address announcer for SFA football and basketball games (Axe 'em, Jacks!). I also do the play by play for Nacogdoches Dragon Football. I love God, and I'm especially fond of fajitas, brisket, and The Princess Bride.
