Silver Alert Issued for 91-Year-Old East Texas Man from Onalaska
A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Polk County man who was last seen late Monday afternoon. The state's Silver Alert program was created by Texas legislation in the year 2007, designed to notify the public of missing older adults with a documented mental condition.
The Onalaska Police Department is searching for Howard Dueboay who is diagnosed with a cognitive impairment. He is described as a 91-year-old white male. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.
Dueboay has gray hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a red and gray baseball cap, a red multi-colored flannel jacket, and gray slip-on shoes.
The senior citizen was last seen at 5:00 PM on Monday, March 25 at the 300 Block of Old Hwy 356 in Onalaska, Texas.
He was in a Silver 2008 Chevrolet Aveo with TX License Plate GBP8393.
Law enforcement officials believe this senior citizen’s disappearance poses a credible threat to their own health and safety.
