STATE BOUND – The Deep East Texas Athletes at State Track & Field

The Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) State Track and Field Championships are taking place Thursday, May 2 through Saturday, May 4. Once again, the track and field facilities at the University of Texas in Austin will serve as host.

Many high school athletes from the Deep East Texas area made the state finals. Here's a look at the athletes.

Class A

Class 5A

Athletes from 3A and 4A schools will compete on Thursday, May 2. Class 2A and 5A schools will be competing on Friday, May 3. State qualifiers from Class A and 6A schools will be competing on Saturday, May 4.
