Crime is something that happens every day in the state of Texas. While we all wish it didn't exist, it sadly does. Now, a new situation involving something illegal is on the rise in Texas, and it has to do with cattle.

Inside the trailers were three steers, who had been killed. The throats of the steers were slit, and someone was taken into custody, though who was arrested has not been revealed at the time of writing. What's more troubling is that this isn't something new that's been going on.

It seems the rest of Texas is dealing with more situations of cattle being illegally taken.

Other Instances Of Cattle Being Stolen In Texas

As revealed by KCEN, more situations like this have occurred in the Lone Star State. In Holland, Texas, a total of nine ewes were illegally taken. Milam County has also been dealing with problems of cattle theft as well.

Why is this happening? Bell County Precinct 2 Constable Chris Bazar said to KCEN:

"From what we saw in this, they definitely knew how to harvest that animal to where it was going to be utilized for meat purposes...If you know what you're doing and you can lure animals to a fence like that, and you're tooled for it as these individuals were, you can be in and out in less than 5 minutes."

The situation is still under investigation, and more information will be reported when it becomes available.
