Chances are, if you have ever traveled to a beach town, you have seen 'Salt Life' stickers on cars and other merchandise. The brand represents a shared love for all things sand and sea amongst fishermen, surfers, divers, and folks who just enjoy the beach in general.

Salt Life's parent company, Delta Apparel Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June of 2024. This led to this iconic beach brand being purchased by Iconix International Inc. during a bankruptcy auction.

Now, under new ownership, Iconix has plans to revamp the brand, and the first step is closing all physical Salt Life stores across 10 states, including the two locations in Texas.

Liquidation sales started last month across all 28 Salt Life locations in 10 different states. Customers can purchased discounted merchandise up to 40% off, and giftcards will be accepted until October 20th.

The Texas stores closing: 5885 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, TX 77591 and 1506 TX-100, Port Isabel, TX 78578.
