I will never understand why people have the urge and need to steal things, especially from a place that is helping people get back on their feet.

If you didn't pay for it, it simply does not belong to you.

Just the other day a group of thieves were pillaging through an Amazon delivery trailer that was left abandoned for a while along a Dallas area highway entrance ramp. Looters were able to pry the doors open and then a quickly forming mob just went through the trailer as if there was a package inside with their name on it.

There was nothing for them, they were just taking what they could and as much as they could.

Activity like that just boggles my mind. Along with what's happening in Rusk right now outside the Good Samaritan Food Bank.

The Rusk Police Department is seeking the identity of at least 7 individuals who have been captured on surveillance cameras stealing from the local food pantry.

Donations of used items have been made to the center and now individuals are confiscating things left for the charity to sell and make money off so they can provide food for those in need for themselves.

According to the Rusk Police Department's statement on social media,

These donations support their thrift shop, which helps raise funds to purchase food for those in need.

Thanks to the Good Samaritan Food Bank's surveillance system, they have been able to catch some good images of not only the ones doing the pilfering, but clear images of their vehicles and license plates too.

The Rusk Police Department has identified nearly half of the individuals caught on camera. However, they need the public's assistance to identify the remaining suspects.

Tips may be called into the Rusk Police Department

Officer Kirkham is leading the investigation and he may be contacted by email or by phone at 903.683.2677 during normal business hours.

Simply put people, if it doesn't belong to you, it doesn't belong to you. Stop stealing y'all.
