Okay, Texas, enough with the winter shenanigans. Y’all are starting to get a little too crazy out there. Just stay inside where it’s safe and warm until the snow and ice thaw out.

Just yesterday, I shared a video about cars losing control on an icy hill in Austin, leading to a pileup at the bottom of the hill. And on Monday, I posted a video of some of the winter storm craziness here in the Lone Star State.

But the video I came across this morning is the straw that broke the camel’s back. I can no longer just sit back and laugh when people don’t use their heads. Seriously – someone damn near lost their life in Fort Worth.

As you can see in the video below, a guy was busy looking at his phone, shooting a video of himself sledding down a hill in Fort Worth, and didn’t think to check if any cars were coming on the road at the bottom of the hill. Of course, there did happen to be a car right there in plain sight.

It appears the driver panicked when they saw the guy on the sled and slammed on their brakes, which caused the back end of the car to slide toward the guy on the slide, narrowly missing him.

This snow and ice can’t melt fast enough for me.
