Here’s yet another reason why I choose not to live in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Don’t get me wrong – I love to visit, but living in Arlington for a year and a half was enough for me. I’ll take small-town living over that big city stuff all day, every day.

That’s not to say that we don’t have our fair share of crime out here in the sticks. However, it’s typically a pretty safe place to live. Common sense will tell you that with more people in an area, there will be more bad actors.

A bad actor (or most likely, actors) in Dallas recently stole a Camaro. As you can see in the video below, they weren’t interested in selling the stolen vehicle. Instead, they stripped that thing of just about everything it had to offer. I guess it’s more valuable that way. Either that, or it’s harder to track the vehicle back to the thief when it’s parted out.

Whatever the case may be, I feel for the victim. I’ve always been a fan of General Motors vehicles, especially Camaros. Discovering your Camaro in that condition has to leave you feeling gutted. Hopefully, they’ll find the crooks responsible for the theft.
