That 18-wheeler slamming into several stopped cars on a Houston, Texas, highway caused a huge crash that shut down traffic for hours and sent multiple people to the hospital.

The wild part is that he seems to maintain a pretty consistent speed after running through multiple cars. In fact, the video ends with him still cruising down the highway.
Investigators are still figuring out what went wrong. They’re investigating whether the driver was tired, distracted, or if the truck had a brake issue.

Texas has more big truck crashes than any other state, and experts say it’s partly because truckers spend long hours on crowded highways trying to meet tough deadlines. That mix of fatigue and speed can make accidents like this all too common.
