For most kids in Deep East Texas, school has now started back. It seems like summer flew by, and now we're looking to get settled into our fall routine. However, there's one location in Nacogdoches that still has some time left before they wrap up their summer fun.

Splash Kingdom Timber Fall Will Be Open Through September 13th

Splash Kingdom Timber Falls is the water park on University Drive in Nacogdoches. According to their Facebook page, they have reached the point in their season where they're only going to be open on weekends, and only through September 13th. The only exception is that they WILL be open on September 7th for Labor Day.

And that makes sense, right? I mean, the vast majority of people that would be out enjoying the waterpark have now gone back to school, so they wouldn't really be able to make it during the week. However, it's still super-hot outside, so it would be nice to go float the lazy river on the weekend - at least, that sounds pretty good to me.

They moved into their modified schedule on August 10th and will have it that way until they close on September 13th. The schedule looks like this:

  • Saturdays, Open 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Sundays, Open Noon - 5:00 PM
  • Labor Day, Open Noon - 5:00 PM

So, if you want to take advantage of getting to Splash Kingdom before their season ends, you may want to go ahead and make those plans now. Otherwise, you'll be waiting until 2027 to get out there.
