Once upon a time, Nacogdoches had three Pizza Huts - one on North Street, one on South Street, and one on University Drive. The one on University Drive is still there in its original location. The one on North Street closed and was torn down. The one on South Street moved less than a mile north, still on South Street. Do you know what was there before the Pizza Hut moved there? Let's take a look back.

Pizza Hut Used to Be a House...Literally

Before they moved, Pizza Hut was located at 2512 South Street in Nacogdoches. It wasn't a full restaurant with tables and booths. It was really just for carryout and delivery orders, just like the location on University Drive is.

It's hard to believe that's even in the same spot. That is now a full-fledged Pizza Hut, with tables, booths, fountain drinks, a buffet...ALL OF THE THINGS, in addition to the delivery, carryout and drive-thru features.
