Last Traces of R&H in Lufkin are Removed, Making Way for Bahena Truckin LLC

For those of you that may not remember, R&H Mobile Housing was located on North Timberland Drive in Lufkin for many years, just down the street from the Kurth intersection. A few years ago, they stepped out of the mobile home business and that location became R&H U-Haul where you could, you guessed it, rent U-Haul trailers and vehicles. Today, there is no trace of R&H anything on that some lot.

The Last Traces of R&H Have Been Removed Completely

Today as I was driving by, I noticed that there is nothing from the original R&H location on the lot anymore. Several months ago, signs were put up for Bahena Truckin LLC, a transportation company based in Lufkin. However, the old R&H office was still located on the property.

To give you an idea of what it looked like, here's a Google Map picture from 2023:

For as long as I can remember, that office has been there. Yes, it was the mobile housing office before the U-Haul, but the office was the same.

As you can see, the last traces of anything R&H have been removed. The office is gone completely. They've even removed a propane filling station that was located right behind the office.

Don't get me wrong, I hope for nothing but the best for the Bahena Truckin LLC that has moved to that location. I hope they do awesome things. It's cool to see new businesses come into the Deep East Texas area and thrive. However, it's different to see the changes after seeing R&H there for so many years.
