Some things are inadvisable to mail in Texas. Sending a large chocolate bar to your friend in the middle of August is one of them; don't ask me how I know.

Sending stoneware dishes is inadvisable, I found that out the hard way too. If some plates look good on the shelf at your local store, take them home from there and don't let them ship the rest.
