Lia's Kitchen is one of my favorite spots in Lufkin, Texas. Wouldn't it be great if the owners opened another restaurant where the old Five Guys Burgers and Fries was?

That is exactly what has happened according to the Lufkin Daily News. Manager Mandy Sosa took to Facebook to start hiring some kitchen help.

Then gossip that something new was coming to Lufkin spread like crazy.

They will be opening another locally owned and operated restaurant in Lufkin. This time it's a Mongolian Grill concept called Iron Grill.

Iron Grill Hoping To Open In Just Two Weeks

The staff at Lia's Kitchen has been keeping this on the down low for months, busily securing everything they need to open the new restaurant.

They have a lofty goal of opening up by September 18, 2023.

The menu will feature some favorites from Lia's Kitchen like their fried rice, but this will be a completely different concept with build-your-own bowls Mongolian style.

New Iron Grill In Lufkin Now Hiring 

This restaurant won't just open by itself, so they are looking for new team members for the location on the loop. If you know someone that is looking for a job in Lufkin this might just be the place.

They are now hiring full and part-time positions. They are looking for a cook, dishwasher, and a cashier.

You can stop by the new restaurant at 4505 South Medford Drive Suite #301 Monday - Friday from 8 am to 11 am or Lia's Kitchen at 208 East Lufkin Avenue Monday - Friday from 11 am to 6 pm to inquire about the openings.
