Three people were found dead in a quiet Nacogdoches neighborhood. They were found dead inside a home on Mystic Lane off Appleby Sand Rd.

Police started an investigation immediately after the horrible discovery on Thursday afternoon at around 12:30 PM. The Nacogdoches Police Department was called to perform a welfare check on the Nacogdoches residence.

Local authorities are still trying to work out what occurred inside the home. Police confirmed that 3 adults and a dog were found dead inside.

Authorities Release Names Of Victims In Nacogdoches Home

Today, they released the names and ages of all three of the home's residents. Amy Manning Kirk, 52, William Manning Kirk, 22, and John Standley Kirk, 17, were found in the home, located in the 4300 block of Mystic Lane.

According to a press release from the Nacogdoches Police, they are treating the investigation as a carbon monoxide poisoning. Based on the information they have so far, it is the only explanation they have come to.

Nacogdoches Police, Fire, and CenterPoint Energy have all been working on the case to find out what happened.

According to CBS19, residents said that the family was new to the neighborhood and had just moved into the Ocala home, and were making renovations. They went on to say that it was a mother and her two male adult children.
