Staycation Surprise: Evans United Shows Hit Lufkin
You decided to do a staycation for Spring Break, and it's already paying off. A large carnival has sprouted up behind Lufkin Mall with a huge ferris wheel out front.
Evans United Shows is back from March 12th to 16th. They are only here until Sunday, so get in on your chance to ride all the state fair-style carnival rides in Lufkin.
Wednesday, March 12, 2025, is the first night to ride and see all the games and food they have. Evans United Shows has been around for over 75 years, and they know how to throw a party.
Spring Carnival Has Sprouted Just As The Pollen Hits The Air
For the first time in 2025, I noticed yellow pollen coating my vehicle in the mall parking lot. It must be time for the Spring Carnival!

Admission and parking are free with ride coupons starting at $1.25 each and armband specials available for $30 per person per session.
Rides open on weeknights at 6 PM and on weekends at 1 PM.
Afternoon armband sessions are from 1 PM to 5 PM, and evening sessions are from 6 PM to 10 PM.
