We just started our 3-month foray into the depths of summer. This heat isn't just "bad," it's deadly. I treat it like winter and only go outside in spurts until October.

There are a lot of people working outside here who might not know they are pushing their bodies to the very edge. We could make this list the "Top 10 Jobs Likely to Have A Heat Stroke in Deep East Texas".  Don't feel pressured to work so hard that you end up in the hospital.

There is just no other way to say this: if someone is working outside and not taking breaks and drinking water, they will die. It happens every year. Don't be a statistic, and if you have one of these sweaty jobs, pay attention to your body.
