Get Native Texas Plants At This SFA Fall Sale
If you have a green thumb, yet the plants you get for your garden are dying, it could be because they just aren't meant to be here. If you are looking for interesting plants with a fighting chance in Texas, you need the Pineywoods Native Plant Center.
The facility is on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus in Nacogdoches. They host two plant sales every year, and their Fall Plant Sale is coming up on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
The event is from 9 AM to 2 PM at the SFA Gardens located at 2933 Raguet Street. Parking is available at SFA's Janice A. Patillo Early Childhood Research Center.
Texans Come From All Over To This Fabulous Fall Sale
This sale is for everyone, including professional landscapers. Some come from as far as Houston to get stocked up on these hearty plants grown by staff and volunteers at SFA.
Bring your wagon to scoop up as many special plants as you can. They will all be clearly marked by staff, students, and volunteers working hard to lay out, label, and price the 183 varieties of foliage.
