Almost all of the 9 felony arrests in Angelina County have made the news with their past crimes. Many of them are being arrested for parole violations.
According to KTRE, Charles Alan Williamson was arrested in 2016 and was one of two men arrested after one of them accidentally called 911, while stealing wire from a Lufkin construction site.
In May of 2023 Ivanna Adams was arrested by the Angelina County Sheriff's Office after a man said that he was stabbed by his girlfriend according to the Lufkin Daily News.

She is back in jail on a parole violation.
Ricky Wayne Boyd was arrested in 2015 after he attacked his daughter and her boyfriend with a machete after they almost knocked over a T.V. according to KTRE.

The daughter sustained defensive wounds on her hand, and the boyfriend was cut on his leg. Boyd and his daughter were both arrested on an unrelated outstanding theft warrant.
