Felony Arrests In Angelina County June 9 – 15

This is usually just a snapshot in time; these are the people who committed felony level crimes that are in the Angelina County Jail in Lufkin, Texas, right now. This time, I went in a few extra times during the week and caught a few felony offenses before they bailed out of jail.

Both of the people arrested on felony level charges that I put on the list earlier last week, when the offenses were made, are no longer in jail. Most notably, Hillary Danielle Williams, 34, has overcome another huge bail amount to stay out of the Angelina County Jail.

The former East Texas Teacher now faces even more charges. This time they have added indecency with a child due to a recent child outcry.

Her first bond was set at $350,000, and now these charges add $200,000. She made bail after being arrested for the first charges, but was arrested again for these additional charges, and made bail a second time.

Her first court appearance is scheduled for July 22, 2025. It's not clear if they will address all of the charges, including the original charges of bestiality and child pornography.

Man Arrested In Angelina County For Assault Of A Pregnant Person

Christopher Lee Griffith, 26, was arrested last week for an assault on a pregnant person, a third-degree felony. He has also been bonded out of jail since then.

Ethan Bonner Self, 19, was caught by the Carthage Police Department for a warrant from Angelina County for a second-degree felony, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
