Food People Seem to Love in Texas, Nowhere Else

Being here in Texas we are so fortunate with all the delicious food that we have available to us at all hours of the day. And let’s be honest, Texans love to eat, whether it’s a big ol’ breakfast with chicken fried steak or a rack of ribs with all the sides for dinner. But there are some foods consumed here in Texas that other places will not allow on their plate, let alone take a bite of it.  

Growing up I had parents and grandparents that would cook food and it was just expected that as kids we would not only eat what was prepared but also, we wouldn’t waste food. So, we all had this rule that we always had to try everything. If we didn’t like it after trying it, that was okay, but we always needed to try it before we could say we didn’t like something. As we look at some of the foods that only Texans love I think that people need to try these foods before they say they don’t like them.
