Farmer’s Almanac Reveals Texas Christmas Weather Outlook for 2025
(KNUE-FM) One thing we know about the weather in Texas is that it can be unpredictable. We can hear about a big storm coming, and then nothing happens. Although the same can be said for the opposite, we sometimes have big storms come through that we don’t expect. But what does this mean with Christmas coming up later this month?
Lots of Texans would dream about having a white Christmas this year to be able to take lots of pictures and share them online. Although, we know that a white Christmas in Texas isn’t exactly the normal weather conditions.

What the Farmer’s Almanac Predicts for Texas
So, what should we expect as we inch closer to Christmas. According to the Farmer’s Almanac it looks like the Lone Star State has a much better chance at seeing some rainfall instead of seeing any snow falling.
The Farmer’s Almanac has been making these weather predictions for more than 200 years, long before the National Weather Service existed. And they do say that South Central Texas has a chance at a few snowflakes around Christmas, but rain is expected to be mixed with a few snowflakes.

How This Forecast Could Affect Holiday Travel
The good news is that if you’re planning on traveling for Christmas we shouldn’t see any snow on the roads, but that also means you might need to travel if you’re really wanting to play in the snow.
While we know that weather conditions change quickly here in Texas at least for now it looks like we will not be having a white Christmas this year.
