Over the weekend, videos of strange lights in the skies over Texas starting to make the rounds on social media. Some of those videos show mysterious ring around an unexplained light.  This event took place around 9:50 on Saturday night.  Some are commenting Space X while others are claiming 'unidentified.' What are your thoughts?

@lorie.mahan April 12, 2025 at approximately 9:50PM. My husband Jason watched as this bright light appeared in the sky and seemed to be heading towards his camp in a horizontal direction. After about a minute, a brilliant white light ring seemed to shoot out in front of the object. Then the object slowly ascended in a vertical direction and disappeared into space…. #TEXAS #TEXASUFO #UFO #wearenotalone #ufosighting #ufoキャッチャー #ufotiktok #fyp #devilsriver #trending #copyright @ufonews @SpaceX @Fox News ♬ original sound - Lorie.Mahan

After searching TikTok, it appears that this object was seen throughout most of Texas. All videos show the same thing. A very bright light cruising through the night sky before letting out smoke that let to a ring. The object then disappeared into the night. Here is a different angle from a different part of Texas where you can still see a little sunlight.

People in the San Antonio area are not strangers to 'unidentified flying objects.'

Here is a more comedic spin an Unidentified Flying Object from the San Antonio area. Pokerdoggone posted the video below to TikTok and it makes me laugh. The funny part to me is that he repeatedly says Frank's name. What can Frank do, in that this is a UFO? It was the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, probably the most iconic thing about San Antonio. In their defense, the fog does make it look eerie.
