You can place your bid by clicking here.

According to the bidding website, the bidding for the entire building started at $5K and currently sits at $15K with 5 people interested in buying the property!  Imagine getting an entire restaurant with all the equipment for only $15K.  The current auction for the building ends on 5/16/24 at 11:30 AM. You can search for a Red Lobster in your neck of the woods if you are interested by clicking here.

Despite what we have been seeing on social media, Red Lobster has not yet confirmed, denied, or even acknowledged the news publicly.

TEXAS LOCATIONS SHUTTING DOWN

Nearly 50 stores shut down this week, including several in Texas:

  • College Station: 1200 University Dr E
  • Dallas: 9069 Vantage Point Dr
  • Houston: 302 Farm to Market 1960 Road West Cypress Pointe
  • Lake Jackson: 104 TX-332, Brazos Mall
  • Longview: 3515 McCann Rd
  • Lufkin: 1919 South 1st Street Lufkin Mall
  • Pasadena: 4002 Spencer Hwy

The Victoria, Texas location is not listed however, it has also closed and does show 'temporarily closed."

The company's decision to offer all-you-can-eat shrimp all day year-round may have been their demise. More customers ordered the shrimp, however, they were eating more, staying longer, and losing the company money.
