The Linden Texas Wildflower Trails Festival Runs Through Saturday

A lot is happening in Linden as the Wildflower Trails Festival returns with a full lineup of events, bringing the community together for several days of fun, food, and local tradition.

Festivities kicked off on Monday, April 20, and run through Saturday, April 25, with something planned just about every day, so don't be thinkin' you've missed all the action. There is still a lot of fun from treasure hunts, and art shows to rodeos and live music. And the great thing is, Linden is a short drive from Texarkana.

Weekday Events Get Things Started at the Linden Wildflower Trails Festival

The week began with a Treasure Hunt hosted by the Chamber, with clues posted at the courthouse and a $250 grand prize up for grabs.

An art show will also get underway, with artwork at the Historical Courthouse in the town square.

Friday Brings Rodeo, Vendors, and More in Linden

Things really get going on Friday with a full day of activities. A quilt show, flower show, and over 60 vendor booths will all be set up, along with food and crafts for everyone to enjoy.

Friday evening, the Cass County Championship Rodeo returns, with a kids' favorite Mutton Bustin’ starting at 7:30 PM and the rodeo beginning at 8 PM. DD’s Saloon will also feature its Texas Old Western Jail experience throughout the day.

Saturday is Packed with Festival Favorites in Linden, Texas

Saturday will be the biggest day of the week. The morning will kick off with a 5K run and a pancake breakfast. Then the vendor booths will open up in the downtown area. Visitors can also check out the car show, art show, flower show, and quilt exhibit happening throughout the day.

Kids will love the kid zone area with bounce houses and a foam cannon. The adults will enjoy all the live music throughout the day.

Saturday Afternoon Parade! Did Someone Say Parade in Linden?

One of the highlights of the festival will be the Wildflower Parade, with a $100 prize for best float. Lineup will begin at 1 PM at Linden Elementary, and the parade rolls out at 2 PM through downtown.

Wrapping Up the Weekend

The festival will wind down Saturday afternoon, followed by another night of rodeo action to close things out.
