Texas Lottery Confirms Two New Millionaires Already in 2025
We are just a few days into the new year, but the Texas Lottery website is confirming two winning tickets, each worth at least $1 million.
Texas Two-Step Winner
One winning ticket matched all five numbers for Thursday's Texas Two-Step (1/2/2025) drawing. That lucky ticket is worth $1,275,000! It was sold at the HEB located on Louetta Road in Spring, Texas.
The winning numbers were 4-10-25-27 with a bonus ball of 33. The last Texas Two-Step jackpot payout took place on December 9. That winning ticket was sold at an HEB in Hutto, Texas, and was worth $200,000.
Hit $1 Million Scratch-Off Ticket Winner
On January 2, the Texas Lottery confirmed the winner of $1 million with the 'Hit $1 Million' Scratch-Off game.
A winning $20 scratch-off card was sold at this small convenience store in Cameron, Texas, which is located in Milam County, west of College Station.
This Texas Lottery scratch-off game was one of three 'stocking stuffers' that we featured in a story just before Christmas. The odds of winning the jackpot payout had increased by over 100% for three games, the 'Hit $1 Million' was one of those.
Even though the odds have lowered due to the recent payout, there are still two out of four $1 million prizes unclaimed with this game. However, the Texas Lottery website shows that this game will be closing soon, so it might be difficult to find its game cards. I searched numerous locations before Christmas and couldn't find any stores that had them.
